The company under the corporate name ‘TELEKOM PAYMENTS – E-MONEY SERVICES SINGLE-MEMBER SOCIÉTÉ ANONYME’ and the trade name ‘Telekom Payments’, seated in Marousi, Attica, at 99 Kifissias Avenue (hereinafter the ‘Company’ or the ‘Organiser’), issues and allows users of the ‘Magenta Pay’ app (hereinafter the ‘App’), which it manages, to redeem coupons of a specific value (hereinafter ‘Coupon(s)’), in the context of its partnerships with third parties – companies. These terms of use (hereinafter the ‘Terms’) are intended to inform users of the App – beneficiaries of the Coupons (hereinafter ‘Participant(s)’) – of their own obligations and those of the Company when using the Coupons. Use of the Coupons is deemed to include any act relating to them, such as, indicatively, their registration in the App and their redemption. Use of the Coupons constitutes unreserved acceptance by the Participant of the Terms, which take effect upon their mere posting here and may be amended at any time and unilaterally by the Company, at its sole discretion. Participants are therefore requested to study the Terms and fully understand them before using the Coupons. In the event of disagreement with any of the Terms, the Participant must refrain from any use of the Coupons.
1. In the context of the Company’s partnership with OTE S.A. (the ‘Magenta Pay 1000 Coins Coupon – WHAT’S UP U30 Welcome Offer’ programme of OTE S.A.), the latter, as co-organiser of this promotional offer, will grant Coupons worth one thousand (1,000) points (hereinafter ‘Coins’) to WHAT’S UP U30 mobile subscribers. The Coupons are made available within the WHAT’S UP app or by any other means determined by OTE S.A., and may be redeemed only once per Coupon, within the App, in the ‘Win with Magenta Pay’ section → Coupons, and within the time period set out in paragraph 3. For valid redemption of the Coupons, the Participant must complete the identification-verification process in the App in good time, and specifically within the deadline set out in paragraph 2. Specifically, in order to redeem a Coupon, the Participant – who will have received a unique Coupon code from OTE S.A. via the WHAT’S UP app – must enter it in the App, in the section referred to above, in order to immediately receive one thousand (1,000) Coins, which may further be used in accordance with the terms of the ‘Coins’ Loyalty Programme, described in the Terms of Use of the ‘Magenta Pay’ App.
2. Redemption of the Coupons may take place exclusively within the App, and only by users who have completed their identification-verification by 30/11/2026, 23:59:59, regardless of the date on which the user began the identification-verification process.
3. Provided the identification-verification process has been completed, the Coupon code may be redeemed within the period from 21/09/2026, 10:00:00, through 30/11/2026, 23:59:59. After the expiry of the above date, the Coupon shall be deactivated and it shall not be possible to redeem or replace it. The deadlines set out in this and the preceding paragraph are final. The Company bears no liability whatsoever for the lapse of these deadlines.
4. Each Coupon is intended strictly for personal use and bears a unique code, which the Participant must safeguard and keep confidential. The Company does not determine, nor can it know, the beneficiary of each Coupon, who is designated by OTE S.A., in accordance with paragraph 6 below. In this context, the Company is not liable, is not obliged, and is not able to replace or cancel any Coupon in the event of theft or loss thereof, or use thereof by a third party (see the terms here, Section IX ‘Coupon Service’). In any case, should a third party become aware, by any means, of a Coupon’s code, that person must refrain from redeeming it and shall, if they use it, be subject to sanctions arising from applicable legislation.
5. Participants must act lawfully and within the framework of fair dealing and these Terms. Should any act or conduct of a Participant be deemed by the Company, in its judgement, to be unlawful, abusive, or non-contractual, the Company shall have the right, among other things, to cancel the Coupon and prevent its use.
6. Beneficiaries of the Coupon may become new subscribers to the WHAT’S UP U30 mobile subscription programme, in accordance with the specific terms of the offer determined solely by OTE S.A., at its absolute discretion. The Company does not intervene and bears no liability whatsoever for the manner in which OTE S.A. grants, or does not grant, the Coupons to their beneficiaries, for reasons determined by OTE S.A. itself.
7. The Company makes every effort to ensure that the Coupon redemption process, as described in these Terms, is continuous, uninterrupted, and free of technical issues. However, the Company cannot be held responsible for any malfunction, interruption, or delay in the redemption process, or for any other technical malfunction or failure of the App, in whole or in part.
8. Should the Company become aware of a breach by a Participant of any of these Terms or of applicable legislation, it may cancel the Coupon and prohibit its redemption, as well as temporarily or permanently suspend the Participant’s access to the App, in accordance with the App’s terms of use. The rights of the Company set out in these Terms may be exercised in addition to, and together with, its other rights arising from legislation or its contractual relationships. In the event of a breach of these Terms or of applicable legislation by a Participant, the Company shall be entitled to seek compensation from the Participant for any damage, material or otherwise, direct or consequential, suffered as a result of such breach.
9. For the purposes of participation in the programme, the Company processes the following categories of Participants’ personal data (hereinafter ‘data subjects’):
- Full name
- WHAT’S UP U30 subscriber status
- Date and time of registration in the App
- Coupon redemption date
- Unique Coupon code
- Redemption amount
10. The Company collects this personal data directly from the data subjects in the context of implementing the ‘Magenta Pay 1000 Coins Coupon – WHAT’S UP U30 Welcome Offer’ programme. The legal basis for the processing is the data subject’s consent to participate in the programme, which is given by receiving, using, and redeeming the Coupons.
11. In all other respects, the processing of personal data, as well as the exercise of data subjects’ rights, takes place in accordance with the terms of the General Information regarding the Personal Data Protection Policy (available in detail here). Furthermore, upon commencement of the Participant’s registration process in the App, or if this has already taken place, further processing of the Participant’s – and now App user’s – personal data takes place in accordance with the terms of the above link.
12. These Terms are governed by Greek law, and any dispute relating to their interpretation and/or application shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Athens, with express exclusion of any other local jurisdiction.
13. Should one or more of these Terms be held invalid, the validity of the remaining Terms shall not be affected.
